The GSD has invited members of the public to put forward to them issues they would like to see considered for debate in Parliament.
“It is important for politicians to listen and to debate issues which matter to people,” the Leader of the Opposition, Daniel Feetham, said in a statement.
“Over the last year we have filed motions for debate in Parliament on a regular basis; from public debt, to the importance of a public accounts committee, to co-education and training we are not only raising awareness on important issues but also setting out what our vision is in relation to them.”
He added: “This is a real break with the past. It is, however, important that the public is also engaged in the process and we want to hear from members of the public as what issues they would want us to take up and debate in Parliament.”
