The Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, has been invited to address the Oriel College Law Society’s Annual Dinner which will be held tomorrow evening.
Mr Picardo is an alumnus of Oriel College, one of the colleges of Oxford University, where he studied jurisprudence from 1990 to 1993.
Those attending the Dinner will include eminent solicitors, barristers, law lecturers/professors, retired judges and current Oriel students.
Mr Picardo, accompanied by Mrs Picardo will leave for the United Kingdom this afternoon and return on Sunday.
The costs of Mr Picardo’s travel are funded by the Oriel College Law society.
Whilst Mr Picardo is in UK, the Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Joseph Garcia, will act as Chief Minister.
At the Remembrance Service on Sunday, in Mr Picardo’s absence, Dr Garcia will lay the wreath on behalf of the Gibraltar Government.
