Last chance for family sports

The last of the family sports evenings organised as part of the Summer Sports and Leisure programme takes place tonight.

The evenings held at the Bayside Sports Centre have proved popular with over 30 people of all ages attending last week’s event.

There is a variety of sports available to play from giant jenga and chess to badminton, paddle boarding, rock climbing, carpet bowls and table tennis.

Sports Leader Ellen Tirado told the Chronicle the sports evenings have been a hit with people of all ages.
