A public rally by pro-Brexit campaigners in Casemates yesterday failed to grab the attention of Gibraltarian voters, with just a smattering of curious onlookers stopping to listen.
The Grassroots Out [GO] delegation had travelled to Gibraltar to address people in a public event complete with PA system and a stage from which Tory MP Andrew Rosindell and UKIP MEP Julia Reid delivered speeches.
But apart from the GO team itself and a handful of journalists, few people seemed interested.
Undeterred, Mr Rosindell said he and his colleagues were keen to deliver their message locally ahead of the June 23 referendum on EU membership.
He and the GO team had spent much of the day out and about in Gibraltar, talking to people and sampling local views, as well as explaining their own position.
